Apple Strudel

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of instant puff pastry
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons of liquid milk
  • 4 apples
  • 40 grams of raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon water
  • 60 grams of palm sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp cornmeal
  • 25 grams of margarine, cut into small cubes


How to make:

  1. Peel the apples and slice thinly.
  2. Add lemon water and mix well.
  3. Add palm sugar, sugar, raisins, salt, cinnamon powder, mix well.
  4. Store in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from the refrigerator, add cornstarch, mix well.
  6. Heat over low heat until thickened and soft.
  7. Choose margarine, let it melt, mix well and lift.
  8. Place the apples in puff pastry and fold.
  9. Brush the egg yolks and whipped liquid milk.
  10. Slice the middle.
  11. Oven until cooked for about 40 minutes.
  12. Cool it down.
  13. Cut and strudel ready to be served.
